    I just had some small cosmetic things done to my first motorcycle - 2002 Fatboy that I bought brand new before ever having driven a bike.

    I actually traded it in on my 2006 RoadKing in 2006. The Fatboy went to a guy who barely put any miles on it. Then my friend saw it for sale on Craigslist and bought it back. He was gonna sell it after a few years and my girlfriend ended up buying it back and gave it to me for a housewarming present :)

    Pretty much mint with ~ 31,000 miles - in 2006 I traded it with ~ 23,000.

    I can ride it all day and I’m good! Mine idles a little higher to smooth the vibration at low rpm but cruising is no problem.

    Amazing bike. Getting moving you'll kill every mosquito in the neighborhood. Once going, you can't upshift fast enough. You don't have to worry about downshifts, no engine braking. It was a lot of fun.

    Pulled the trigger about six months ago on my first bike, a 2020 Yamaha R3. Hadn't ever ridden a motorcycle before so was debating between a 300 and 600 but I'm glad I started on the smaller one. I am casually looking for something more powerful, and have a few projects in the garage as well (some '74 CB750s). My buddy's Ninja ZX-6R KRT on the other side of the pump is much faster but I was running away from him in the mountains last weekend (before it started raining).
