For some reason, my build keeps on having a bug. I can't add the 40K carbon exterior on the Cielo. It's available but there is a bug in their system. Looks good. After looking at both the MC20 and F296 in person I have to say I prefer the Maserati's looks. The cartoon smile front grill on the Ferrari made the difference. It looks like a fish mouth.

OMG yes! I looked at these. But for 20K that is one more sleepless night, I can avoid. I can only imagine the feeling of scraping one of these.
I never liked black wheels, no matter on which car. Wheels are an important design element and -for example- black ones on a black car is for me an absolutely No-Go!
Will the mc20 ever be available to purchase at msrp? Kind of gets old seeing cars with the dealer markups and flips. Robb

I see lots of ugly choices people make on all sorts of cars now. Most people aren't very good at making beautiful selections. This is one of the problems with allowing customers so many choices. I've seen a few in this very thread.
The one owned by a friend of mine in western France, he loves it. It is in the showroom of his dealership which he sold recently (the dealership). I have a coupe on order, expected Q1 next year. Worth noting that the fuoroserie colors look quite different in real life to the configurator, and it is very difficult to know exactly what the car will look like. So much so, combined with lack of color samples at dealer, that I aborted that idea and went with the original Grigio. I have, however, gone with fouroserie internal leather, which they have confirmed and sent me a render. Just waiting for price! They will also paint the lower panels as an alternative to the carbon pack.
I wondering if anyone on this board has any connection directly. I need help from higher up at Maserati. My local dealership and the newly appointed regional rep know nothing about MC20. They are completely useless, they are not ready to represent the MC20. I placed an order 15 days ago for a Cielo and their system has a bug showing when I am adding the exterior carbon fiber exterior that shows as available on the built option for 39K. When we close the order, the car is not appointed with a carbon exterior. With loads of finger-pointing, I told them I would cancel my order since they don't even know what is or is not available on the car. LOL, one would think that would generate some alarm bells at my local dealer shop. NOPE, they called me today to refund my deposit. They couldn't care less. This is such a sucky experience, Given that Maserati is trying to change their image, it would want to coach the people allowed to sell the MC20. I need to reach Maserati directly in Italy for some help with my Cielo order.
Not sure if this will work and you get in touch with them directly. I much doubt that. But why not contacting Maserati of North America?

and now you know why Maserati is position in the market isn’t what it should be. It has nothing to do with their product, it’s the network, specifically the Chrysler network run out of Auburn Hills. The majority of the dealers are CDJR, the staff are Chrysler transfers from other Chrysler brands. They don’t understand the brand or its customers. Nor do they care too, it’s just checking the luxury box on their retirement package.

You are absolutely right. Here in Europ I had the exterior carbon included in my option list without any issue.
