    I've read several posts of F8 owners alleging after around 2,000 miles, the car stock exhaust sound increases.... I'm not sure if its my imagination but at 900 miles, I do feel the sound has somewhat gotten better..

    Is it just an imagination of me and several other members here or does sound actually improve? Is there a reasonable explanation to this?

    The F8 sounds good on a cold startup so if we could keep that sound all the time it wouldn’t be that bad.

    They do Todd, I worked in the dealer network for many years.

    Your dealer may decide:
    a) Warranty claim can be carried out, provided car is returned to stock form while investigations/work is carried out
    b) Warranty claim can be carried out regardless of modifications
    c) In rare cases, in some markets, they may refuse to carry out warranty work at all - but I can only think of two markets, one in the Middle East and the other in the Far East

    Different dealers and different service advisors/service managers approach things very differently based on my extensive experience working in the Dealer Network and dealing with the Dealer Network Globally.

    I just had the Fabspeed bypass installed last week by my dealer. I'm happy with it. Much more sound on startup and slighly louder acoss the rev range with no cutting in/out.

    Can I ask what you decided to do?

    Are there 3rd party warranty options in Dubai that would accept a modified exhaust etc?
