This is Alfas only contribution to racing...parade laps with old men behind the wheel. They should be forced to start from the pit lane every race in order to keep them out of the way of cars that are really racing. Their only real function is to act as buoys, letting the lead cars know when they are beginning to lap the field.
I dont think they [SF] have the luxury of moving or firing him. Demoting him to the technical dept would be untenable. Choosing or being stuck with the wrong people is definately his fault. We just have to admit RB have done a better job with their car and Mercedes have bounced back. Updates are needed and the new TD from the FIA hasnt helped either. As I said many times, to many axe wielding ex Ferrari personnel at the FIA.

Agreed. Go full yellow or don't bother. I hate the mixed colors, whether it's the Ferrari or the Alpine or the Merc.
You need a VERY important reason to do a not red Ferrari. So important that it has never happened, the blue one was a NART entry.
Well, the privateers run in whatever colours they wanted. Although now I´m wondering if the blue/yellow Ferrari 625 of Froilán González at Argentina was a Scuderia entry.
Gendebien's entry at the 1961 Belgian GP was in the name of Scuderia Ferrari though. I have no doubt that it was Jacques Swaters, the Belgian Ferrari importer who was behind it.
The yellow overalls are making for some really fun memes to take the pain off management's inability to do strategery. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think Blue and yellow were - is the national racing colors for Argentina. ... I think that race the car was entered under a local team but was also the defacto factory effort.
With how things have been going this season for team strategy and race execution, what was intended as a celebratory livery instead looks like a diversionary tactic. I just hope we don't have any major **** ups in Monza. We need podiums and points. All the best, Andrew.
Yes - run by Swaters ... ecurie Belge... I think it was to due with Ferrari and his "giving up" his Italian national racing license after the death of De Portago... I think. the white and Blue of 64 was again because Ferrari was at war with the Italian racing authorities.. and start money etc... it was entered under Luigi Chinetti NART team. National colors of the USA white and blue stripes.....
I'm sure it was planed by the marketing dept... but yes, agree it looks silly to even deal with it let alone the cost.
