F8 Order Status

Yes sounds like while not in modis officially there is a status “91” where the car is not really 90 or in transit but not “92” where the customs PDI inspection is completed. My guess is this is the purgatory that cars sit in for weeks

 

Once the car is off the ship, there is quite a bit of work Ferrari does in their shop in the Port of New Jersey in addition to just clearing customs. It is hard to predict how long a car will sit in a container before even making it to the prep area, then how long in prep, then how long till a truck arrives. They use the same trucking company every time and everyone has labor shortages all along that process. It took my F8 about 6 weeks from the ship docking till it arrived at my dealer and I am about 300 miles from the port.

 

I finally got the call yesterday, car is on the way to dealership. They expect it sometime next week.

Just got my final production picture as well. A boat should be in Genova in a week or so, hopefully I make this one.

yes, in fact they said the car was left the factory on July 8th. But no updates after that.

I was told august first I was at 90. No updates since

 

I’ve been in 90 since June 26th.

 

I ordered my first Ferrari F8 on Sept 29th 2021 in Las Vegas. The app seemed useless for a while, then sometime in June of 2022 it shower a vin. YAY! I'm in. On Sept 1 2022 I got my first picture, it was the completed car on the red carpet finished...ten days later I got the body in white and the post paint pictures.... weird, but OK.... Super excited as you can imagine, I read some posts here and looks like some of you guys got your cars shipped on Vienna Express. Googled that and apparently just got New Jersey on the 19th and leaving for Miami tomorrow. called my dealer and got status 90 since August 31. Given that Vienna Express crosses the Atlantic in 10-20 days, My car could actually be off the boat already! - I like to think so....

What? This is crazy. I’m not sure about this being a real post as I don’t believe there is a status 91 and 3 months post shipping seems impossible

 

I went stage 91 on 3/4/22.
93 on 3/15/22

So what is status 91 mean? All modis I’ve seen go 90 to 92. Regardless your timing after clearing customs seems normal. I suspect the other poster (just joined) may be a troll trying to ramp people up ?
