Scozia is simply fabulous, you posted some (I posted one too in the GTO thread)in various threads recently and I love it more and more
The orange DeTomaso Firenze would fit well to the orange GTS Or take the yellow one for a yellow 812 SF like mine. Bad that these nice watches are sold out, searched more than 2 years to get a new yellow Firenze XXL. Daniel Image Unavailable, Please Login
This orange GTS is one of the most nicest examples i've seen. Spectacular color with the orange carbon. Daniel

Question for the experts. On my recently delivered GTS I noticed my livery stripe is contiguous from font bumper to back tonneau cover to rear brake light This is was what I asked for when we did the mock ups. But I had been told during the build process that the painted livery stripe will not be on top of front windscreen so there would be a break. This is consistent with the livery stripes I have seen on other GTS examples. Mine did however get painted stripes on the top of windscreen so there is no gap. Is there a reason why the other livery examples don’t have top of windscreen painted
Very strange. I asked for mine to be painted as you described and was told no. But on my Pista Spider I was told that a livery stripe could not be painted as I requested and the car showed up as requested. So who knows?
I have a very thin stripe on my GTS and it is not painted on the top of the windshield as you describe. I don’t think it’s a problem when the top is down but is a bit weird when top is up… When I noticed that, I checked the specs of my upcoming competizione and found out that the top of the windshield was not due to be painted either. Had an exchange with the Taylor made department and got it fixed. Hopefully. Very strange indeed, it looks like if you don’t ask for it specifically, this part is definitely not painted….

Was again told by TM this morning: "Unfortunately we cannot add the livery on the A frame anymore, that is something the factory was doing a few years ago."
Hello @Tylercoupe252 I am now in the build process for an 812 GTS. I would also like to have the painted livery stripe. My dealer spoke to Maranello and was told that the area above the windscreen will not have a painted livery stripe. Now I have read your post number 3631 and I have a few questions: Was the painted livery strip, including the area above the windscreen, completely painted at Ferrari? Or did you have the area above the windshield painted by a painter? Can you please let me know the last 6 digits of the VIN so my dealer can say to Ferrari it is possible to paint the livery stripe above the windscreen. I would be very, very grateful if you could help me with the VIN, you can send it as a PN if you don't want to publish the last 6 digits of the VIN here. Thanks in advance.
I asked at my atelier about the stripe on that section and was told that I could request it but they do not advise it as it doesn’t look good when the roof is down with the stripe there as it is such a small section. I didn’t question it and moved on with the session.
the black edge at the base of the hood itself is another 'blank' area. If that black section was instead selected in body color would the livery stripe instead end at the back edge of the hood? Ferrari also had mixed messages on painting just parts of the roof in a contrasting color or all the GTS roof panels. Another yes and no request situation previously to...
It's not as if I chose one of the five standard colors rolling off the Ford production line. The whole car is a custom color. Just paint it as I want for Christ's stake. Another oddity. . . See the silver stripe behind the rear wheel? I was told in unequivocal terms that it was impossible to continue the stripe back there. Yet, the car showed up with the complete stripe. It is almost as if an idea is initially rejected but then as more people request the same change the answer evolves into a yes. Or the painter thinks the full stripe looks better and just keeps going around the car. There is a history of complaints about wrong color livery stripes or missing painted shields so there is definitely some funny business going on behind the scenes. Very interesting story about the Pista's stripe in silver; with an amazing picture to illustrate the result. Thank you!
