There is a picture of a Ukrainian SU-27 with a road sign hanging from the inlet. Apparently it happened in 2020 on a training mission.

The commentary on the video suggests they collided. At 1:11 in the video they freeze the frame and point to what appears to be a structural failure of the outer wing. That would definitely induce the left roll.
