Congrats! I was in a similar situation 4 years ago: gave away my R8 LMX (first gen facelift R8 with V10, 570hp) for the F12 as the F12 has always been my absolute dream car. I didn't regret it, but I did have some issues and a couple of 5-digit-bills: corrosion on the co-driver door; corrosion on the boot (around 10k in repairs);electrical issues until I exchanged the original batteries against a Varta and I exchanged the starter motor as well, which had been giving me headaches. After that I thought I finally had reached a status where the car wouldn't make any troubles (and it didn't for half a year) until my transmission broke down. It is still in the workshop (and has been there for over 3 months now) with the gearbox having been sent to Italy for revision. It will be 12-15k repairs at least...so there you go...
