The Official Ferrari 812 GTS pictures thread

Will be interesting to see if/how the paint and livery options expand when Ferrari opens their new paint shop, which I imagine with replace Zanasi. Ferrari knows that with electrification they will need to offer even more customization in order to command premium prices. I'm sure that's what that is all about.

 

When I configured my 812 GTS, I was told that Ferrari never paints the top of the windscreen.

After understanding this, I have checked out many cars and it is always the wrapped/stickered cars that do this. IMO this is a dead give away to non painted car.

Ferrari seems to be totally supply constrained at the moment, even the pay me even more department cannot seem to keep up . No wonder they priced the PS at $500k.

 

My car arrived from the factory with a painted stripe including a stripe painted on A frame. It is not a cheap option and cost almost double the cost of the painted shields.

This was after communication that A frame portion would not happen. It is not clear as to what changed in the decision making process. And as UBoat mentioned sometimes quirky things happen

I can see the pros/cons of having such a small portion painted and I could live with either result. I was trying to understand the decision better which is why I asked the question here but it seems there may not be a clear answer. I am happy with the result and like the look with roof opened or closed.

Currently getting clear PPF on the whole car and then plan to drive it….it may just stay a mystery to me and just become part of the journey regarding ownership of this car.

 

This was on the GTS? When was it delivered?

Can you post a wider view pic of the car? I want to show it to Tailor Made and nudge them.

I prefer the stripe on top like you have it.... You are very fortunate.

PS - it seems like there are a heap more GTS coming out with painted stripes.... definitely what I like to see!

That green / Cuoio GTS is an intemporal classic. to keep forever IMO

 

Would be good to see some pictures of your interior. I’m going tan and green Peccary seats in the same format as yours and then the matte green carbon should finalize my spec with TM next week.

That’s crazy. With the Tailor Made 488 Spiders, it was no problem

 

I was denied on my Pista Spider and 812 GTS also.
