I found some other pictures I took on this day in my old phone. A good friend of mines (who used to own #7555) knows Gregory and told me he used it a lot and even used it as an « opening car » in the GTO Tour in France a few years ago. Image Unavailable, Please Login
View attachment 3399796 Yes it does look like one of my photos, but it is not, I've checked all my photos, which I have never posted anywhere except for this one group photo on my Instagram, which I asked my friend who owned all 3 cars (at that time) if it was OK with him, before I posted. The rear 3/4 view that cluboutrun posted was taken by one of the 'visitors' to our Saturday morning group. It should NEVER have been posted anywhere including here on this forum. The EXPRESS statement said to all visitors has always been that, yes you can take photos, but only for yourself, DO NOT POST any photos anywhere, which includes the one cluboutrun posted! The culprit in this instance is a Reddit member, not one of our Saturday group. So much for being nice to visitors. Some people (The Reddit member) just don't understand much, they don't listen, nor do they know any better. This shows a complete lack of respect, which is typical of too many people these days. Marshall: Your experience is why we stopped allowing ANY photos in our shops. Too many jerks and liars.

Not brown. "Chinese Red" leather by Connolly. 06437 is a special 275 GTB built for Battista Pininfarina. A total one-off. Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes Dyke, exactly. All very unfortunate. It would be nice to be able to trust everyone, but sadly I realize that is completely unrealistic.

The NAME of the color is "Chinese Red", vs American Red or Australian Red or Italian red or Swiss Red or whatever. The leather is not Chinese nor does it come from China. Marcel Massini
I have tens of thousands of photos, mostly of my own and my clients cars, but rarely post any, especially those potentially identifying client examples and those that I do post, I’m trying to be very conscious about their content and any consequences their unauthorized use may have. While I don’t often have visitors in my shop, those that do visit are asked not to take any photos of my clients cars or if I allow them, I make it clear they have no right to post or share any online or even privately (I had the same policy even before digital photography and/or interweb). Most people today don’t seem to have respect for privacy or understand copyrights of others and this thread is one of many ongoing proofs of it.
The typical name for some shades of red (and sometimes orange) is “Mandarin.” I don’t know why Connolly chose to call it “Chinese.”
