    Hey guys,

For sale is my Sig P226 with wood grips. I bought this gun not too long ago but decided I rather want a Hellcat Pro as it is smaller and better for concealed carry.

I haven’t even taken it to the range yet, and the gun still looks brand new. The P226 with these wood grips is virtually nowhere for sale. It is definitely a beauty.

There are a few scuffs from the previous owner that are shown on the pics but that’s it.

Comes with 5 mags and a Sig case.

    $1,700

The 355 guys can't buy a brand new 355 from Ferrari for less than the pre-owned market. ;)

I could get the same gun as new (with manufacturer warranty and original grips), without the "patina" from the poor gunsmithing on the rear sights, and order the same custom grips (with extra stars) for <$1,400.00 plus shipping.

Given all that... $1,700 is pretty difficult to justify. You're effectively charging new prices for a used gun and then about $100 per extra magazine, so:

Here's an original 15-round flush fit P226 magazine for $50 direct from SIG SAUER:

And here's a MEC-GAR 18-round flush fit P226 magazine for $50 direct from SIG SAUER:

That setup brand new with SIG SAUER warranty and not scratched is <$1,550. You're just price gouging at $1,700 and hoping nobody here knows any better on the flip.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Thanks for all the research on the weapon. Im looking to buy a P365 Spectre for my CC. The P226 was too big for that, and I cant return it, so decided to sell it. I shot it the other day and was blown away by the accuracy and ease of handling. Great weapon. I think the 365 spectre with the gold trigger and barrel will do the trick I need it to do.

Anyway, as far as price gouging. This is the United States of America my friend. God bless capitalism. If someone decides they want to pay even $100,000 for this gun, then so be it. Let the market decide. The price is the price, and if it is indeed too high then market forces will eventually force me to price it lower.

Dont you love capitalism? How else will we afford our toys and speed addictions?

No you're not, you already bought one yesterday for $973.35 (included the 3% credit card fee) + $35.00 shipping, or $1,008.35 all in:

    :D

You should have bought this one for $969.50 (no credit card fee) + $30.00 shipping, or $999.50 all in:

That would have saved your $8.85 to spend on some gun oil. ;)

Indeed, but I don't know anyone who would pay several hundred dollars more for a worn old gun with no providence instead of the cheaper brand spanking new identical gun with a full manufacturer's warranty.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Wrong my friend. I just “won” the bid for $945…but cant legally buy it yet bc of some rules the dems changed not too long ago

I searched up and down GunBroker to find the best deal and never once saw the other ad you mentioned. Need to run more stuff by you.

Really wish i talked to you before I bid on this gun. Would’ve saved at least $50… couple boxes of 9mm… oh well
