It looks like it's from a 6.5 litre to me. If I am right, then the racing number is probably a fanciful adornment, as this model was not usually used for competition. Not to be confused with a Speed 6, the high performance version of the 6.5. Looks in great shape - a valuable piece. The mascot looks correct to me.

The radiator surrounds looks like a 20's Bentley. The mascot is the same mascot as I have on my 1934 Bentley.

I asked Bob Petersen, he thought 6.5L too, and the tags look correct but obviously re welded at some point.

He didn't say one way or another in re: to the mascot.

Now, I have to figure out it's value.

Quick "Blower Bentley" story. In 1985 on our 10th wedding anniversary, I flew in a unique balloon race in conjunction with the Bentley Drivers Club. Each balloon was assigned a Pre-War "Blower Bentley" as chase.

I flew the driver's wife in the balloon and he had my wife as passenger in the car. We had to stay airborne for 45 minutes and then could land where we saw fit. The challenge was to get the Bentley as close to the landing balloon as possible so the wives could be exchanged and the Bentleys could race back to the starting point which was Leeds Castle in Kent.
