So looking forward to the St Pete Gran Prix again!! We are on the 10th floor of a condo building that is immediately adjacent to the track. Here is the view from our place from the 2021 race......

IMO St Pete is giving Long Beach a hard run for its money as best street course on the circuit

Curious what Detroit is going to be like. I still don't understand why they got rid of Belle Isle.

I haven't been to an Indycar race since they were in Baltimore. Might try to make it to one next year.

that layout will almost certainly suck, but I think Penske owed GM a favor.

May as well get the season started . . .

In world shattering news, Sting Ray Robb has a full time ride with Dale Coyne this season.

Takuma Sato set to do ovals only with Ganassi.

that really did surprise me. quick driver but no budget, where's the $$ coming from?

hopefully he does better than Racin Gardner

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racin_Gardner

AJ Foyt has completely revamped their management and engineering team, hope they move forward. as much as Santino is a little ****, he can wheel.

Arrow McLaren's soap opera will be fun to watch

Juncos signed some Argentinian dude I've never heard of, with a remarkably thin resume. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agust%C3%ADn_Canapino

I looked up Robb on Wikipedia. Turns out that his first and middle names have nothing whatsoever to do with cars or racing! Purely coincidence that he wound up as a racing driver.

Foyt for a few seasons, is just not geting competitive power plants.

Not sure exactly why.........Larry is now active Team Manager, and as you say they are finally staffing both cars with full time support.
Jack Starnes is still there tho, I stuck my head in the door to wish them all Merry Christmas!!

they're not the "factory" Chevy team, so no they're not going to get the best engines (rules be damned)

but honestly even with the competitive engines, their engineering is 10 years behind so it wouldn't matter. hopefully that changes.

Will be following the new rookie driving for Dale Coyne Racing. The #51 Honda powered car is being driven by Sting Ray Robb. Great name for a race driver!!!

To be honest I don’t know. There wasn’t any practice scheduled for Thursday. But a few of the SRO GT cars and a couple of tandem Indycars giving rides were out for about an hour.

Even more confusing was the Mazdas were supposed to practice at 7:50 this morning. And SRO practice starting at 8:35. It’s after nine as I post this and nobody has been on the track. Wonder what the issue might be.

I think i saw that there were radio issues and parts of the track infrastructure weren't fully setup.

The Mazdas finally got out on the track. View out our bedroom window of the straight between Turn 3 and 4. I asked the City to cut down that darn tree. It’s blocking my view!!!
