Alfa out of F1 after next year...or?

Sad about both Alfa and Jag. That said brands like Porsche will eventually be all electric and at that point why bother-the power will be in the hands of the battery manufacturers-pun intended. Sad for older car enthusiasts like myself. need to get me a Giulia QV and Jag xkf asap!

 

EU has already quietly changed their stance on "ICE ban" to "carbon ban". i.e. ICE cars can remain to be sold so long they are fueled by carbon neutral fuel. The infrastructure of any country in the EU can absolutely not withstand a switch to EV's for everyone. Hell, we are at peak capacity already yet only 1.3% of cars on the road in europe is electric. With the lunatics in charge future powergrid structure apparently fueled by hopes, dreams and a sprinkling of fairy dust, how do they propose this to actually work?

And we haven't even considered the lack of lithium on the planet to fuel all this madness. And people can forget solid state as being the rescue...their cost are flat out insane, and require even more lithium.
