Sad about both Alfa and Jag. That said brands like Porsche will eventually be all electric and at that point why bother-the power will be in the hands of the battery manufacturers-pun intended. Sad for older car enthusiasts like myself. need to get me a Giulia QV and Jag xkf asap!

EU has already quietly changed their stance on "ICE ban" to "carbon ban". i.e. ICE cars can remain to be sold so long they are fueled by carbon neutral fuel. The infrastructure of any country in the EU can absolutely not withstand a switch to EV's for everyone. Hell, we are at peak capacity already yet only 1.3% of cars on the road in europe is electric. With the lunatics in charge future powergrid structure apparently fueled by hopes, dreams and a sprinkling of fairy dust, how do they propose this to actually work?

And we haven't even considered the lack of lithium on the planet to fuel all this madness. And people can forget solid state as being the rescue...their cost are flat out insane, and require even more lithium.

Well it is only going to take 700 years of mining to obtain all the metals we will need in the next 30 years...........

That is part of that 700 years.

The Alfa Giulia QV is wonderful, as is the 4C. But neither represent what Alfa has been about since the 1960s. That is what the base Giulia does. It is an amazing car in its own right...great fun to drive, even on the track. Amazing steering, an engine that is full of life and more than enough power for real world roads, a great transmission, fantastic lines that get better with every passing year, and a more than respectable interior that doesn't overdo the technology. These Giulias are true bearers of the Alfa Berlina torch. And they can be had at fantastic prices, and the extended warranties offer great protection for the buyer. It may be the last of the breed, but for Alfa enthusiasts, it is a here and now experience that has years of life left in it.

"In November 2019, Alfa Romeo announced officially the end of production and marketing of the 4C, caused by falling sales".
