I run Motul RBF 660 in my 458 but want to switch to Castro SRF.

I am using a Motive power bleeder.

When I put the new SRF fluid in, do I first need to completely drain the entire system from the RBF 660 fluid, or do I just leave the RBF 660 in the car and then put 2 qt of SRF in the motive power bleeder and flush/bleed all four corners under the 2 qt of SRF in the power bleeder is gone from the power bleeder and in the car, and ensure the reservoir is topped off?

    Thanks guys

Unless you do know what you are doing I would not drain the fluid, as you may end-up with air bubles trapped in the system.

I usully remove as much fluid as I can from the reservoir with a seringe, then flush the system with 2l of fresh fluid.

On a properly maintained car, this should be fine.

Yeah that is good enough especially as you continue to bleed before your track day. For on track I want brake fluid as the weak link because brake fluid talks to you. I want a stout brake system so I can use cheap but clean regularly bleed or changed fluid. I don’t want to have all aspects of my systems at their limit.
