Even 6 bottles deep of Lambrusco she'd still out-smart the current strategists. In her sleep.

A seat at Alpha Tauri is a first step up the ladder for Nyck De Vries; I hope he will move to a better team soon though.

I see Gasly going to Alpine as a lateral move, to escape from the Red Bull clutches. The same move Ricciardo did 4 years ago!

Why would you want to escape the RB clutches? Isn't that the best seat in the world, being #2 to Max?

Ask Vettel, Ricciardo, Albon, Sainz, and now Gasly why they wanted to leave the organisation. There is a pattern there.

Red Bull is Team Verstappen, and not everyone likes working with Horner and Marko. after a while.

Having said that, Red Bull is a very efficient team, and Horner a good principal.

Max is 25 years old. He could keep that seat for 10 more years. No one else will have chance to be anything but a support driver at Red Bull for the foreseeable future.

Having a seat alongside Vertappen is accepting that he is the team's preference and that everything is decided around him.
That's not a bad strategy for the team, but it must be confidence destroying for anyone who begins in F1.
That's why Perez is OK, he has raced for many years before driving for RB, so has no illusion.
