The terrible state of the pound against the dollar at the moment I bet the UK is being drained of F40s and every other decent car heading for the US

It’s missing giant black bumpers, giant side indicators and a mustache!! It’s like Groucho Marx glasses. ;)

That’s just what I see every time and I can’t Unsee it. That’s probably in the minority too.

Be a good benchmark car for the current climate, given it sold not that long ago.

Perhaps, but remember, this F40 was highly-modified by Liberty Walk in Japan in white, then was subsequently restored back to standard F40 spec but repainted in a non-original F40 color. It's provenance and the color will disqualify it for some and for that reason I wouldn't use it as a benchmark, that said, nothing surprises me these days.

Agreed it is not the cream of the crop, and in my opinion over sold last time, so it will be interesting if the current owner at least get his money back, however in its favour is the pound is now worth a lot less so it may head overseas this time around.

do you actually think this car was ever for sale?
do you actually think any of the bidders to towards the end were real, as in not mates of the owner?

Strong bid for this car IMO.

Pray tell why you doubt the authenticity of the sale & bids.

Collecting Cars says the Enzo has sold https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/2004-ferrari-enzo and that the winning bid was £3,276,005, based on 115 bids in an auction with 21,644 views, are you saying this is not real?
