Either, we need to get something on the books. I think VIR is a better option though.

I want to drive a 600....... and then I don't! I am so happy with the 570, it might spoil the whole thing! :)

This will be my first McLaren. Hopefully no issues. The 600lt has been out for a couple of months.... do we have any owners experiencing any reliability or poor build quality issues? Another private car club I'm on said there are some owners that are having problems. I asked what those are and hopefully someone speaks up.

I’ve heard of no issues. Good luck and enjoy the car.

Drove the 600 LT yesterday and was quite impressed by its performance, looks and exhaust note.
Seriously contemplating purchasing one after I get some feedback on build quality and reliability.
Is a discount to be expected on MSRP and, if so, what % discount ?
    Any feedback is appreciated.

Make your offer and see what happens. If they (and you) are reasonable, you will make a deal.

Anyone else able to offer feedback on their experience with the 600 LT or late model Mac's in general ? ( I'm a long time Ferrari owner and hesitant to move to the dark side )

Had a 570, now a 600. No problems with either other than random electronic gremlins that are easily resolved.
For driving, track prowess nothing beats them. (Still have not had 600 on track yet)

Pretty solid Mac's to own, have you had more in your collection before?

Nope, my first trip into serious car territory was 570.

(I’ve had a bunch of other stuff, but nothing in its league- performance wise M3, M3CS, Ariel Atom, Porsche GT4, couple sedan race cars. Only other exotic - Ferrari 308)

How much do you think the dealer has in the 600LT ( 8%, 10%, 15% )...this obviously helps in determining how much discount can potentially be obtained when purchasing.

8 1/2% but doubt you get too much of a discount maybe 1/2 that. Good luck

Is 8.5% a fact you are certain of ?
I assume that would be invoice only and doesn't take into account any $$ for hitting quarterly bonus numbers.

Had the 570 for a year and it's been brilliant. A couple of software related issues, but nothing serious.

The only challenge I'm having is with the car's $3K Li-ion battery. Rather than hold its charge (as registered by days on the dash), it seems to down 2-3 days for every 1 day it sits. I'm trying to get Mac to replace the battery. The car has never let me down. Very little can keep up with it on the road or track, and it just makes everyone smile! You won't be sorry.

If you are cost conscious, buy used. I saved $60K off MSRP on a car with 1K miles, spec'd exactly as I would have ordered it.

I don't have any info on backend money but I was told 8.5% from invoice to MSRP.

Not sure if 8.5% is the real number or not, but I just picked one up at 8% off of MSRP. Not sure they would let one go within a half percent of invoice. Of course, they may have a hell of a back end money program.
