I was starting to worry that the vindictive ex was going to get her hooks into that GoFundMe account. On a more positive note thank you for your service to our country.
What a mix of emotions reading this. Of course no one wants to go through a divorce..... ... I don't have kids. That being said. If I did. Could not imagine the possibility of them stumbling on a post titled "help me keep my Ferrari" with a link to a go fund me. If it's that important to you, do whatever you have to do to make the money to service the car and keep it, and delete this thread if you can.
I note that the OP has withdrawn his gofund me. Question for the OP why would I not donate to someone who actually needs financial help to feed their family as opposed to you who wants to keep their Ferrari? I sympathise with your situation as I have been there but to be blunt you were never a worthy cause to donate to when there are others who cannot feed themselves or need financial assistance for a medical condition. I also have my doubts as to whether you are genuine.
Probably wants his student loan debt paid off by the government also. This has to be the most ridiculous thread I have ever seen on Fchat.
If someone really wants to keep something, they will find a way. I think most wound say finalize the divorce and assess your financial stability at that point. If the car is weighing you down then consider refinancing options if you currently have a loan on the car. If you have to pay a 30k service bill then I would consider cutting the loss and sell it to a dealer and find another in a couple of years. I have not met very many active military people driving Ferrari’s. Usually ex-military guys end up in government contract work and that opens up the door for large income levels.
I had to sell EVERYTHING in 2006 and start over with a 1983 corolla. Sucked but I ain't no jive azz turkey asking for obama phones.
Man, I really missed some entertainment here. I think I'd rather give the money to the crackhead talking to himself on a park bench than some dude that made an account on here just to get $ to keep his Ferrari. I mean, if he was a valuable longtime contributor or something, at least that would be less embarrassing.
Free throat punch for anyone who donates to “help me keep my Ferrari” go fund me pages. Enquirer within.
Sounds like the model california has the exhaust vertically stacked. This was the first gen cali...they are truly trouble and not worth their weight in cucumbers. Dump that lemon and start another separate savings account..stay hungry and fill the account monthly with what you can afford..soon you will get another!
Free posts LOL Seriously, I would never embarrass myself by begging for money for a play car….I would sell it for whatever I could and move on.
As others have said....I would rather burn it to the ground and not collect a penny on insurance money than go on a Ferrari forum, set-up a GoFundMe, and beg for money. I am in disbelief...what has this world come to?
Wow. Now is the time to show your kids that you can sell the car, take care of your business and build your wealth back.
Many unfortunate use their kids or pets for added sympathy in request for financial assistance at the corner. You just parked your Cali on Ferrari Street, leaned up against, and crafted your sign. If this was on a public street corner I’m sure you would make the news. Wish you the best but honestly likely at least half of us have been in your shoes. This too shall pass but this thread will be here forever Bump Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
