No more with the CIS Bosch K-Jet on my 85 Mondial QV. Since ownership it’s been nothing but issues. For me anyways. So I’ve removed it and gone the EFI direction. Updates as they come. As for now intake is off, crank pulley removed (don’t mind the grease and grime from the picture. It will be cleaned haha, and CIS removed.

I had Aaron at ATS Racing build me my full EFI kit. Sent him my plenum, cam cover for crank sensor, crank pulley, throttle body and he made it work. I’ll
Post a few pics. Still got the harness to install and put the ECU in the trunk. Fuel feed line. Few other small odds and ends Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

May want to change those cam drive bearings and seals sooner rather then later..just saying.

Good job on the conversion tho. This is going to become a more common change as the CIS parts are drying up and Bosch is no longer servicing the system.

The next time I do the timing belts I’m replacing all the seals while I’m there.

That was my thought on the EFI. Parts are ridiculously priced because they are getting harder and harder to find. Plus this way I can tune when I need or want and have room to grow.

The Car Wizard did something similar with his 308. He’s got multiple videos showing all of the “modern” modifications he’s doing to make it more reliable.

Got the harness under and pulled threw the intake. Had to pull the plenum and lay the harness down then put it back on. Nothing was bolted down so it took 5min. Should be able to test fire later on this week. Fingers crossed
