Well, we knew Max was talented and ruthless. He will go a long way.

What a race. Packed full of incident. Real shame that KMag got taken out by Ricci - glad he’s leaving next year as he’s definitely lost it.

Rus was peerless today. Led from start to finish. Fastest lap. Never challenged. Kept his head. Well done lad. A Formula 1 race winner and well so deserved.

Gotta give credit to mercs engineers as well. From a POS car that was absolutely nowhere, to a race winner. That’s quite some turn around. If they take second in the WCC I will cry for Ferrari as they bury their dead.

Ferrari managed to recover quite well after a poor start. Nice recovery from Leclerc. Solid drive from Sainz. But can they hold on to second in the WCC? It’s not looking good sadly…

Re Max and Ham - looked like a racing incident to me, so the 5s pen was harsh.

Re Max and Perez - whilst max is arrogant beyond belief, I believe there was genuine reason to do what he did. He was pretty clear he was settling a score. Monaco seems to fit the bill. Let’s see what happens in Abu Dhabi.

Finally, good to see Alonso outperform again. Matador grade performance from him yet again.

If Perez did fix Monaco that beyond scummy, kind of fits the bills. Remember when he was caught with another woman in Monaco after the race?

Yes the Ukrainian lady that seems to have followed him around several races since lst year...

I've seen several more videos of MC qualifying 2022 and all apply throttle much later that Perez did (including Perez of course on his non crash lap).

It's pretty obvious now, to the point that I'm surprised no one picked up on it back then.

There is no debating that Perez has been in Max's corner for two years now. Abu Dhabi last year was the most anybody could ask from a teammate. Perez drove his heart out to help Max when the title, and the time it cost Hamilton was the difference in the title last year. Max owes Perez big time, and for Max to be petty over 6th place shows that there is still immaturity within Max, and perhaps having such a dominant car has gone to his head.

I'm a Max fan and there's no defending the betrayal today.

I know you love Max, but c'mon. Lets not do revionism here, Leclerc wasnt gonna be beaten that day, he was improving his own pole time by significant amount. Max had barely done sector 1, the least telling sector of whole lap. Lec put like half a sec on everyone in sector 2. Let's stick to facts.

LOL You mean the guy who’s sixth in the championship and trailing Leclerc by 56 points? Throwing him a bone is the least Ferrari could do for him after gifting his win to his teammate in Silverstone while engaging in all sorts of ****ery all season long.

And in regards to Leclerc, his recovery was impeccable.

He has every right to be frustrated with Ferrari not giving team order priority to him after the horrid season they've given him.

No revionism here. If I recall correctly Max's S1 was even faster than Leclerc managed.

I should've added beaten Lec's at that moment until the crash. I'm pretty sure during the MC quali thread I also wrote that Max' beating Lec that quali was unlikely even without the crash.

EDIT, in fact, here it is.

He’s been practicing those dirty moves for years that’s why the ***** gets away with it and is able to carry on while his opponent is either put out of the race or has damage/pit stop. You gotta hand it to him, he’s got it down to a science.

If that was Max/LEC fighting it out—based on what we saw earlier this year—they would have come out of it both in one piece.

Lol, there is literally a video of Max putting himself in such positions on F1's own channel w/ Ferrari the victim in half of the accidents.

Agree—too bad for KMag. Really not going to miss RIC—his clown act has been stale and tiresome for going on 2 years.

ALO still amazing but so is the latest iteration of the Enstone team. I rate them very highly and expect good things from them next year. These high expectations are also backed up by the fact that ALO is leaving the team in another example of his dismal career choices, LOL.

Speaking of teams not supporting one driver over another, there was also Alpine telling OCO to let ALO through which was pretty understandable given that ALO was on newer tires.

But what about Merc who—with a 1-2 secured after a so far winless season—could have just ordered the drivers to hold station but didn’t because could not be seen as treating HAM like BOT and so embarrass HAM. So they let RUS do so on track.

The point is you claim one guy has it down to a science over a driver who literally has it down as well.

But, like others here, you've got a unhealthy, childish obsession over a guy whose not even on your team to the point you literally have to make up reasons why the team didn't give team orders, lol.

“The intention (by HAM) was not to race.”

Well stated and like he said, it probably cost HAMbone the race.

I think in your haste to make a juvenile comeback you’ve confused me with a Max fanatic. I only grudgingly—because he’s not a Ferrari driver—accept that he’s an exceptional driver and the best since Schumacher. I hope LEC proves me wrong next year.

Lol, not even close. The fact you think he's the best since Schumacher is where you highlight the actual issue. You're incapable of anything but disdain towards a certain other driver.

There is nothing about Max that puts him anywhere the best thing since Michael. Absurdity.
