i dont actually know if that is an answer.....

my feeling is that the used car mkt is about to get slammed.... and one of the models that will tank imo is the huracan. sooooo many of those out there and more coming every day.
so italian origin wont mean much.
thats why i added the build numbers as far as i knew them to the conversation - it will make a difference

it would easily be mine too....however my option in this instance is NOT the manual but the paddle shifter. which is not bad, but not the same as a manual

My apologies, are you right and I am wrong. I appreciate the correction.

    Next 5 years?

    I would say the 430 F1 still.

Mclaren will prob depreciate the most, but even in worst case scenario, goes from 160 to 120, that’s not make or break money, and still much better than a new mb/bmw/Audi.

Of the 3, I think the Ferrari is the keeper, but I’m biased. For 5 year ownership, mclaren would be most unique and fun with carbon tub and scissor doors!

    i appreciate the answer.

i should have also inserted that, at least from my perspective, i am valuing them all at the same level today. somewhere between 120-140k.
given what i am seeing with the older cars of each model, the vantage will drop to to 100k, and then maybe revive and rise back to 120-140k as the number of NA V12's out there becomes finite.
the 570gt will drop some, maybe to 100-120k area, but if the hybrid cars still dont get much traction, then it will get supported at that level and maybe come back as well to the 120-140k area.

and the 430 will just sit here at the 120-130k area. it wont drop and it wont rise.

so now that i have written it out, perhaps there is no winner here at all.

Pretty much, every British car I’ve owned depreciated more than any other brand…Aston, Bentley, Rolls…haven’t owned a Mac but notoriously they are known to drop in value.
I bought a 2015 Aston Martin V12VS for $205k brand new, drove it for 1 year and sold it for $125k. I’ve owned 5 Aston’s (glutton for punishment) and lost money on all of them, even when I bought them at significant depreciations. But they are damn sexy!
The 430 will hold the best value IMO.

This is the golden ticket configuration, particularly in a mid-engine layout.

In 5 years? All are sub100k. The world and demographics are changing. We live in a bit of a bubble..thinking the rest of the world cares about an old Ferrari from 2005..they don't.

Funny you mention… I’ve been eyeing the Senna for a while. Will see how prices are next year.

there's even investment trends around the F430, I believe they hold value very well and will keep holding value.

    beware....
the senna is just a modern version of an F40. very hard and harsh.
lots of automated features etc. but still a hard beast.

The 430 is clearly the most valuable now that it is a convertible. Sorry, couldn't resist.

I love the f430..especially the Scud. But I'm not blinded by reality either. They will drop. They are a high production car by Ferrari standards. 16k plus plus. Low compared to say a focus..but high in the luxury car market. Next year..I think they will be a sub 100k car. Just my humble opinion.
