Sorry, I was timed out of a caption.
After putting 10 Qts in the Mondial T, I inverted the 10 "empty" plastic containers in a collection bowl overnight. This 1/2 pint was the result of what came out of the "empty" 10 conainers. More than I had expected.

    More revelations
5 quarts drained out of the engine, 5+ quarts came out of the 22mm oil cooler hole
10.5 quarts filled the engine with a new filter. 11.5 as per specs may overflow the "max" on the stick

    Morning Wingnut,
    Thanks for sharing these observations.
I guess the difference between specs and true fill might result of old oil still sitting in some minor canals (why else would new oil start changing color after only a few runs) and maybe more relevant for the mentioned difference in volume: The new filter is completely dry and shall undoubtly soak up quite some oil at first.

Please share if after a few drives you have to top up some oil again.

    Best,
    Mondi Cab
