Honestly, I cannot say which S/N is correct; I can only say that it is not Tosi's 3765. 4293 and 4757 both went through Ecurie Francorchamps, so could have been yellow, and both were at one time or another owned by Chris Cord. Jarrett, when he digitized my pix, assigned S/N's, and I have caught a few errors. Tsk, tsk.

The little scoop at the rear of the left front fender will id this car, I think.

Love the fact that that GTO had the crap driven out of it being, at that time, only a few years old.

    Just look at that nose...

You mean the '66 T-Bird? I was thinking the same thing.
I wonder what the VIN is?

    That's not a '66- it's a '61 or'62 T-bird, silly.

Yes - that and the the unusual slots behind the rear wheels.

    Great pic!

Unlikely. Countach has a French license plate.
Sal Di Natale was in CA, USA.

Thanks Marcel... I have a bad eye for detail, completely missed the license plate. What made me think of Sal's was the Alfa sign....for some reason...

The photo with the Countach shows Edmond Ciclet, the number one Lambo mechanic in France since the mid sixties, he was a judge for the Miuras at Chantilly in September. He was very kind to me when I often visited their workshop in Bagneux (Paris suburb) in the early eighties. In the last decade or more he has been based in the west of France near Chartres where he was still restoring and servicing classic Lambos.
He told me that his wife Francine who ran the office for decades unfortunately passed away this year. RIP.

    Ed great photos as always.

    Best regards,

    Marc
