Great presentation, very well spoken ,cool duude, his buying experience/reason/opportunity very similar to mine. Perfect guy to promote our beloved car.also everything he said is really what my experience have been for the last 12 or so years. Awesome, thanks for posting
I did those mods on my first Countach, which was in the 90s. In those days there werent many rear wheel dynos around, so we never dynoed the car. The mods transformed the entire car.
This was always one of my favorite posters. It took me forever to find the full size version (24“ x 36“). I finally found one years ago on eBay I believe, purchased it and had it framed. Mike
A sunny day Great roads And a Countach Doesn’t get much better than that. Unfortunately our temperature this week was about -32c (-45 with the wind) So it will be a few weeks before any of the toys come out of hibernation. .
I’m waiting for the 18” of snow to melt at our place! Poor Countach is trapped! The front air dam would act like a snow plow even if I could get it out! LOL!! Mike
Thank goodness we don’t use salt here in Washington. But, the sand isn’t that great either! Sounds like thousands of little rocks hitting all over. I always think of sand blasting! Mike
One good thing living in sw Florida, great roads and very little wear on your car, boring roads ,but kind on the cars.
I noticed Canepas fi is listed on his Sold site. He was asking 750$ for this car. Anybody know what it ended up selling for? Thanks
Tad below 700$. I spoke to Bruce Canepa today. He knows my neighbor. Ex Fernandes Anderson Indy team. It was totally restored. But original interior. Asking was 750$. Also interesting he said the color change was very much liked. He dos this to 959 porsches also. He totally orefer the fi over the dd. He told me he has no ide why Sackey is so defensive reg this subject. Anyway. Good hearing from you. Heading to Telluride tomorrow.
