New badges are a deep orange, almost red. Very poor quality paint and as it wears off it becomes orange, then yellow then all gone and the badge is silver.
The cars were sold from new with plenty of different coloured badges. Early SV badges were orange, red, yellow. MY98 and early MY99 had silver badges, later MY99 had a complete different badge design in chrome.
