Seems to be a 5000S kit. Note the red gloves. I have never seen red gloves before or since finding this image. Does anyone else have unique colored gloves?

Yes, and I meant to bring these to your attention from Emilio's website, also note the green base of the bulb-holder.

I also meant to show you some images from my archives of an LP400 tool kit from my former 1120110, as you can see in this case bulb-holder case is all-red!

The circular pouch fits inside the backside of the full-sized spare-wheel

Thanks, Joe. Very cool. Rarely do we see an early variant tool kit.

    Nice.

And I should say thank you for elevating the interest in Lamborghini ancillaries to this level, the interest in the different details of the cars and their various attributes & accompaniments only bodes well for their future, and as always it takes effort & sharing of infirmation from individuals willing to do this to make it happen.

    Bravo Jeff.

To me, this looks like a LP400 Tool kit.

You could be correct. I’m going off how it was listed by Emilio. I can’t claim much knowledge of early variant kits.

I have a passion for concours grade details. The ancillaries are an important part of that vision. Glad you’re getting something out of it.

I guess at some point I should turn my focus on buying an lp400s toolkit. Fortunately, I'm frying much bigger fish with my Lamborghinis right now.

if your desire is to have one, my advice is to do a constant search and be prepared to grab one if one becomes available. They rarely pop up, particularly one from an early car. I would encourage you to come text Emilio as he may still have that kit for sale.

Yes definitely LP400 like the one I posted, I didn't notice you added the S in your post.

Though this is a double strap bag (normally a dead ringer for a 5000S kit), my guess is that this is actually a very early QV kit, given there is no hammer, two wrenches instead of four, or large sliding pliers. It is not uncommon for very early 85 QV’s to come with double strap kit bags, likely due to remaining inventory.
