No question, the small side markers looks soo much better than the big dot/Us ones, the snag is ,this conversion adds a whole new paint process/step inn to your bumper job, a good painter can blend the buttom part of rear fenders,(beeing the location of the blend faces down) where the holes for the outer rear bumperettes go true the aluminum and attaches to the frame, this is the only blend job in the bumper reverse process wich have to be done, all other parts are separate fiberglass units, wich one fits/adjusts, then paint. The small sidemarker conversion will require paint of complete front and rear fenders, wich basicly makes your car a "repaint" also might require a complete rest of the car re paint, beeing the nature of the new paint versus 30 year old factory paint. Its a choice to make, i opted to NOT paint my fenders, and keep my big US markers, beeing my car is an original paint car in very good condition, that beeing said,if i ever do a complete re paint,i will absolutly convert to the small markers.

good points. doing it fully and correctly is expensive, but as CT eventually rise in value, this will be commonplace

Actually yes! The taillight lenses and backing plates are almost ready. Should be getting them next week sometime I was also reading that if I had the O2 sensor disconnected (aftermarket exhaust) that I could remove the two computers in the left rear area. Also could those 2 small diaphragm on each side of the motor by fuel distributors be disconnected and removed also?

    this is the US model
which i think looks not so good
an euro valance (low or tall ) would complete the look nicely

I can not say enough good thing about this variant of the Countach, this absolute beauty from Santa Agata, big torque Quattro valvole engine, new P7 tires ,upgraded ign, high flow upgraded radiator fans, every thing needed to make your Countach experience amazing, we have 3 of these cars in my close circle, all performing perfect,I have owned this since 2006,and every drive is still exiting, I urge all potential buyers out there to really check inn to this variant of the Countach. do not have any negative comments reg other variants, but I do know I absolutely love this one.

Trial fit of the first taillight lens. Some minor adjustments and it should be perfect. Will apply the black urethane after it is done at paint guy.

Yes good eye. It is a 1969. RA4 Judge. The white car on top was my fathers 89 750i. I just can’t let go of it. Sentimental to me. There is also a 64 Chevy II L79 327 not in the pic.

  21. :) I've owned several Pontiacs, 67,68,69 Firebirds, 67 GTO, 66 GrandPrix, & a 64 GTO convertible. A Ram Air 4 is very special. Oval ports IIRC, without googling.

Which headers have fi owners used? Is there a particular brand that owners like best for power and sound? Are the quicksilver headers good quality, help performance, improve sound etc?

I have the quick silver headers and muffler . Headers are ceramic coated and about eight years old. The finish still looks great.
