    Having spent many hours at 108 George Street in my idle youth, I can tell you for certain that the image was not taken there, but rather in a storage facility which the company used elsewhere.

    Recently sold by Curated and our colleague Olivier, Miura SV Chassis #4974 will be joining a European collection. I believe... it will be going back to its original Verde Miura livery!

    It was very nice to have her in Miami for the time being. We flew in the former owner, Mr. Claudio Zampolli, for the day and captured some very cool video and photo content that will be coming soon!

    What about the interior and wheels? Is the dry sump staying on the car and is the engine a split sump version? Apologies for all the Qs.

    I believe the car will be completely restored, Verde on Nero, correct rear wheels, etc. The engine is a split sump and I believe the dry sump should stay with the car. The dry sump itself was from the factory, the hardware and additional reservoir tank engineered by Claudio.

    When looking at cars like the SVR and Millechiodi, were either of them converted by the factory? If not, what makes them more acceptable as a SVJ when compared to some others like the orange one for sale in the UK?

    Just the dry sump pump, the factory made a handful of dry sump pumps, this car uses that unit.

    The SVR was made by the Lamborghini SpA factory in the mid-70s, it's history is detailed in this thread, the Milechiodi is a non-factory customized Miura.

    Following Joe's thread about the Renauld glasses, I took the Opportunity to introduce Gareth to my client, owner of #3586 in order to reunit The Italian Job Miura and the new limited Renauld edition on the right Alps spots… here are few words from Gareth :

    Dear All,




    In January 2020 I was very lucky to be invited by Fritz Kaiser to do the photo shoot for our reproduction Renauld Mustangs with his Miura P400, the original car from the ‘Italian Job’ film. We had a fantastic time over 2 days where some truly splendid shots were captured and over the coming weeks we will be showcasing these on the website and in advertising campaigns.     After a long prototyping and investigation phase we now have visibility on production and actual shipping date for the exclusive Renauld Mustangs which is set for 1st July 2020. We have already sold the first batch in 2 weeks before Christmas and this is the first production run since June 1969.


    As I had such a phenomenal response to the announcement of the reproduction of these in Various Classic car magazines, I have decided to contact each Lamborghini Miura person individually so as to fairly give everyone an opportunity to buy 1, 2 or 3 pairs. We are limiting people to 3 pairs each to stop the initial secondary market.

    The prices are £1000 for Gold, £750 for Silver and £375 black Teflon ( all plus shipping and taxes ) and I am asking a deposit of 50% today to reserve your pair with the balance payable just before shipping. During this 5 month period we will be asking you specifically which lenses you will require ie blue, green, brown, dark blue and light blue so this need not be decided yet.


    These Sunglasses are unique in the world today and are totally exclusive to Renauld. This makes them immediately more valuable than we are selling them for so we are limiting production to 100 of the first numbered versions to keep them exclusive.


    These deposits are being taken on a first come first serve basis and we want to make sure that the Lamborghini fraternity get first chance to order them.
