    This LM002 sat in the high end used car lot at the Kaila Volkswagen Dealership in 1991 after I returned from Desert Storm as a 19 year old LCpl. I day dreamed about jumping sand dunes in it a lot as I sat across the street at the old L&L Drive Inn grinding on a BBQ Mixed Plate Lunch. I was lucky enough to be friend one of the sales guys who let me sit in it a few times. Can still remember the smell of leather and would and the feel of the wheel. Wasn't quite in a financial position to buy it then, and the kids are off to college in the next few years, so stalled there again! Just an amazing piece of machinery, and semi-distant cousin of my old Humvee. What do you all expect it to hammer at?

    Hi just curious if you were able to get this fixed and if I may ask wha the process was and cost? Did they have to pull your engine? I recently had same failure on mine and trying to educate myself on it while I await news from shop
