The shop were the QV FI are being restored: After overseeing more that 9 vintage lamborghini restorations, 4 of them restos of Countaches, we decided to build a private garage recurit in house full time talent and takkng the time to do it privately and correctly. With talent on full time salary we are doing more cost efficient and with a higher quaility. With exception of projects for our race teamates, all are now just our collection. We also wanted a high end Scuderia Club, with a lounge, research library and museum like setting, where we could hang out with our friends while the cars are being restored. The talent we have amased in the last 4 years is second to none. We have a former museum curators from Europe, one of the top race meachanics, and former WRC mechanic. Now producing cosmetics better than Ive seen amd paid for for last 20 years (all honest work no corner cutting). Also found that those concentrating on storage did not concentrate on the perfect tuning and mechanics. As we specialize in racing and rallying we are now the top US Mille Miglia racing team. (finishing 11 cars in the Mille Miglia, 4 US podiums, 2019 US MM overal winner and 2018, 2nd overall and back to back wins in US MM). The attention to cosmetics, reliability and tuning is now at the highest level. Working on 3 Countaches now. After correcting the restoration and tuning of my downdraft, we doing a full restoration of two FI QVs. We chose thw FI QV because IMHO it represents the best Countach value, and we believe with a proper restoration that reverts the US DOT factory mods, and proper tuning it, will rival any Countach model for drivablity, looks, reliability and ease to live with.
