Will the new lamborghini adventador replacement still have the NA V12 engine?

Also, will it have a single clutch transmission or dual clutch transmission?

IMHO, no, it won't be a NA V12. I suspect some form of hybrid or turbo setup. But who knows??? As much as I love the Aventadour, it's getting a bit long in the tooth now. With the Sian model, surely be ending soon. How many more "limited specials" and evolutions can Lambo roll out?

Lamborghini may not even make any street-legal engines if Euro 7 regulations come together as being currently petitioned because none will be possible.

For now, Lamborghini is in a holding pattern, the recent ESCV12 is track only...that may be the future, track only... The Aventador was originally slated for maximum run of 4000 units, of course, more than double have been produced (including all variations).

As for dual-clutch, don't count on it, that would represent a major new cost and currently Lamborghini does not seem interested, especially because they are selling more Aventadors than ever, so no particular need...

Note, with Euro7 regulation currently "in play" (expected to announce end of 2021) it could well spell the 100% elimination of ICE, they are talking about regulating stuff that is currently not regulated, they do that, the only cars that can 'pass' are those that literally have no exhaust fumes

If Euro 7 rules include all the items found on pages 10/11 of the link above, watch out (regulation will eliminate ICE, potentially)..but that is at least 5 years out from implementation and has not yet been created..

    this could be big trouble:

currently looks like Euro 7 regulation will be decided end of 2021:

The new Euro 7/VII standards will contribute to a modal shift from car-based cities to walking, cycling, and public transport, wherever possible.

According to this article, it will have a NA V12 engine with a hybrid powertrain and it also says that it will have a dual clutch transmission. I dont know if this is true.

Is there any official updates about the adventador replacement?

I've no idea. Always lots of "what ifs" and speculation. So, it's a waiting game . .

    You mean this article?
    https://www.motorauthority.com/news/1125084_lamborghini-aventador-replacement-will-skip-sian-s-supercapacitor-for-conventional-battery

    Or this one?
    https://www.carsales.com.au/editorial/details/next-lamborghini-aventador-pushed-back-to-2024-119877/

According to US publication Automobile Magazine, originally the naturally-aspirated V12-powered coupe and roadster models were timetabled to be replaced by an all-new hypercar in 2020, but high-level decisions within the Volkswagen Group pushed back the replacement's arrival to 2021, then 2022, before settling on the 2024 date.

The younger Huracan (2014-present), meanwhile, is expected to soldier on until 2025.

    <...>
The reason behind the delay is that Audi, which owns Lamborghini, is not keen on the level of investment to hybridise the Aventador's trademark V12 engine to make it compliant with forthcoming EU7 emissions standards.

The EURO7 regulation does not yet exist, currently scheduled for end of 2021, and there is no motivation to develop a new engine unless it will comply, so Lamborghini is holding for now.

As shown above, these "far off dates" are simply a tactic to put all plans on hiatus, there are no plans, EURO7 will dictate what Lamborghini will do, in the meantime they release track-only cars like the Essenza SCV12...because that's all they can do, keeps the brand "fresh" or at least provides that appearance.

Yes, I am talking about the first article.

I am confused whether the adventador replacement will be another coupe/roadster or a hypercar. Can someone clarify this to me?

At this time, I suspect the real question is whether or not there will be another street legal Lamborghini V12 that follows the Adventador. It may be that the Adventador continues on for another 4-5 years and then, nothing.
