The Miura on which I used the home made glass fibre hood was originally white. But I painted it miura green and sewed myself a lightblue interior. Shame on me? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Lel, If I remember well, only 2x Miura S #4064 & #4845 got that factory livery green / blue, so very rare indeed Here is #4064 at Paris recently Image Unavailable, Please Login
Steven, your father's exSV, correct ? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes. My father, John Robertson, was the owner before Charlie Chong, between 1976 and 1978. It was registered NGM 100M. The Britax harnesses were in it when we bought it. It had clear indicator lenses in the grille and extra driving lamps. He painted the sills white and the wheels silver. It looked better with the original gold wheels and sills. He did lots of work to it rustproofing the chassis and floors. It was a fantastic car. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Relax, I used a because I was just kidding. That nose appears to be misshaped to my eye. The sight of 3 Miuras in a random driveway must have been quite a moment for young eyes!
Yes, the sight of a Miura was breath taking. When we went to see the Miuras that Steve Warby had for sale, he only had P400S 4863 and SV 4830. SV 4830 was in the same spot and the P400S was parked next to it in the spot that P400 JLF 281K was in the pic. The Iso Grifo A3/C was in the garage at the back of the house. The P400S 4863 is in the pic behind the SV, and was painted red with a number plate sticker on the bonnet like the one on JLF 281K. I'm still wondering what chassis number P400 JLF 281K is.
Steven, I'm sure you've observed that JLF 281K appears to be a RHD conversion, rather than a factory original RHD car, so that significantly narrows down the possible chassis number..
Thank you, Martyn. Yes, I had noticed the RHD conversion and posted about it somewhere in this thread. It had transparent louvres over the engine too.

Of the many cars that have passed through my hands this is the only one I have color-changed, that was 20 years ago and even though it turned out great and inspired at least 4 other Miuras I'm aware of, as I have often posted, I immediately resolved to ensure that I never color-change a car again as a result of a conversation with an old artisan. Miura SV #5050 in Monaco: LAMBORGHINI MIURA P400 SV | Classic Racing Annonces (classic-racing-annonces.fr)
For sale for long time already... but my potential clients were reluctant to buy due to the color change... now it is public !
I don't like the way this car is presented. The registration plates look like a shark has spat them out. There are counter weights for tyre balance on the outside of the wheels. Not the care and attention that is normally required.
I agree with you, it deserves some attention and the 2 last owners just parked it in their collection over the last 5 years and drove it little... and what the hell is this? A stencil on the sill? Only one side appears to have. Not a good look. This car needs to go a someone who will love her, care for her, put her back into top shape. I'll do it! if they gift the car to me!! Image Unavailable, Please Login
