A friend sent me this link today suggesting I buy it... but it's not for me. So if anybody has ever felt the need for an SE30 BMX, now's your chance: https://privatemotorclub.bigcartel.com/product/pmx-unique-prototype-bmx

Too much cash for an USA SE30...IMO that is basically a watered down version of the row car i think an USA SE30 is not faster than a 2wd diablo european car
It's the only decent vintage car that that lousy new(er) dealer has had so they're probably trying to play off the fact that they are franchised. Poorly run store and the general manager is nothing more than a stupid son of maverick car dealer Warren Zinn. The idiots had a chance to (virtually) steal a Murcielago SV about a year after they opened. All that the car needed was the correct OEM wheels (which I actually located and told them where to get) and their shortsightedness caused them to pass.
I thought that the only difference of a USA version when compared to a Euro version was side markers, passenger airbag and non exposed gas cap. I was under the impression that the motors were the same
Well we have recently sold a USA SE30 in signature SE30 Purple for more than that. Correct. The difference between the Eu cars and the USA cars is due to USA DOT & EPA mandates, the latter are equipped with larger catalytic converters and restrictive muffler boxes. Correct. Pray tell?
Eurospares lists a number of parts pages for US and for Swiss models presumably to list the internal parts that are different? Seems the cylinder heads and valves are different parts, along with other parts in the intake, injection and diff.
