Fantastic picture sent by the Canadian owner of Countach Quattrovalvole Iniezione JLA12359. Still original Bianco/Bianco, left factory in Sant Agata on 27 March 1988 heading for Lamborghini Canada Inc. This Countach will be for sale on Bring a Trailer Auction very soon! Dreams can come true…car updated with more great pics & info @ www.countach-register.com

White over white is amazing. Its to me 3 cars ever to totally fit this combo. Cadillac Eldorado Convertible, Rolls Royce Corniche. And the Countach. Just soo 70- 80. Period cool

No late bidding push. No last minute bidding war

Yes, but the last countach(anniversary) had a huge uptick in bidding the last five minutes
This one died after the 505k bid

This car sold for a huge premium compared to the Anniversary car. The high bid was met early on. The real buyers with cash to burn, made their marks.

I disagree. If you look at all of the photos of this car it looks poor IMO.

You are right, not to disparage, but the car is replete with modifications which is often where issues begin.

I just looked at the listing. I’ve always been amazed at the low grade quality of Mecum’s presentation. They always have 5-8 photos, usually fairly low quality. It’s almost as if they go out of their way to say that they’re a substandard auction brand compared to others in the space. Clearly they have the resources to present themselves better but they choose not to. I think their audience and clients deserve better.

I agree with you, that beeing said. They have produced some impressive sales in the expensive segment, perhaps the bottom line is ,the real buyer with the$$$$, is getting tired of the british accents and smoke up your ass, after all , he is a car guy, and know what matters.

Can only support this statement, also no sales ad nor auction description should be put online without the VIN.
