As we’ve learned, with Lamborghini from this era, the one consistent thing is inconsistency, so I don’t doubt it.

Mostly blue, yes. But again, as noted earlier in this thread, we have evidence of other colors appearing in different kits from different years. Thank you for sharing your many years of deep knowledge.

From post 51 - something completely unique, these red Nuova Lamborghini gloves. So, these leather tool kit gloves were all over the board, though certain colors were more common than others. If you’re fortunate to have a nice pair of these gems, in any color, take good care of them.

Yes this is known, my observation has been that the gloves lined with red tape are from the late era QVs and 25ths.

Indeed, which is why it is so important to not create the impression that the Lamborghini factory's production methods were a matter of defined precision, because the fact is whilst they had some basic guidelines, production was characterized by much random application based on logistical necessity. Therefore there will never be a singular list of what is "correct" for the particular variant we are speaking of. People have a tendency to easily accept misinformation and then history becomes re-written.

Another example of the tendency over time for a new standard to be created that is not faithful to what transpired in the beginning is the current tendency to affix sports exhausts with red tape and innards, which as has been proven by period images in the Downdraft thread was not the case in the beginning, this as also witnessed in person by some of us who were on the scene as new cars were being delivered.

Definitely dark brown (marrone scuro) as the images show, not black.

Again, my observation has been that the gloves lined with red tape are from the late era QV and 25th, and as I say, there has been much adding of all manner of gloves to kits that never had gloves, so 35 years later we have different types of gloves assigned to kits that were not there in the beginning.

    Sorry Im very confused.

A US Spec Lamborghini Lp5000 tool kit and Owners manual are different from those of Europe - but in the tool kit differences there are also differences ‍♂️
I have an 88.5 Countach US spec and am searching for the original of these items but that seems an impossible task

An exceptional example of a like new 25th Anniversary kit belonging to this example which was recently listed on DuPont Registry. Interesting that many late model QV’s and 25th’s contained one or both screwdrivers with yellow translucent handles, again reinforcing the fact that many things were very inconsistent with Lamborghini of that era, particularly toolkits.

Interesting, never noticed. Blade fuses, when did Lamborghini switch to those? With the QV?

That is interesting. This kit is for a U.S. 25th, so possibly then.
