Dear Dino 2400 Please read the story of the Ferrari Mondial Pope mobile Chassnr #77848 #HolyFerrari in this Ferrari chat yesterday . Kind Regards Almar Gouweloos ❤️
Hello Almar, Mr. Gouweloos Thank you for your reply and giving some inside to this very interesting story. I would have loved to speak to you in person about your car during the Zoute GP. Correct me if i'm wrong but is it correct FerrariSPA has officially declared chassis #77848 as THE 3.2 Mondial Spider used to drive the Pope around during that very special day? Did they provide you with any (written) proof or have they showed you files stating this particular chassis (#77848) was used? Would love to receive some details. If preferred by PM. With kind regards, Maarten
Hi Maarten After 32 years, the Ferrari Mondial Popmobile #chassnr77848 find his way back to Maranello. On 20th October, family Gouweloos had a very worm welcome by Dennis de Munck (Head of employer branding University ) and Michelle Pignatti Morano (Museum Director Head of new business ) to visit the Ferrari museum. We were very impressed by the beautiful Ferrari collection on display and the fantastic presentation of the enormous history of Ferrari. Our Ferrari was used as Pope mobile on 4 June 1988 with the visit of Jean Paul II to the Ferrari factory. A magical moment in Ferrari history. The day after our visit, we get a message from Dennis de Munck. Ps just accidentally seen Piero Ferrari and talked. In June 1988, a white Popemobile (Toyota) was waiting in Maranello. The Pope himself asked if there was not a Ferrari version convertible available..... and one of our test drivers then arrived with the / with your Mondial Cabriolet. ) beautiful story, shared from Piero himself! We feel grateful and hope on an exhibition in the Ferrari museum in the near future for our Ferrari. Our thanks is great ❤️ #HolyFerrari #Ferrari @Ferrari Image Unavailable, Please Login

It might be worthwhile for you to get a Ferrari Classiche' registration with the Pope car certified from the factory - that will definitely give you a boost!

A dream has come true Can barely contain it. A meeting with Piero Ferrari❤️ My Ferrari Mondial is exhibited in the Ferrari museum in Maranello. On these unique pictures you see: Piero Ferrari behind the wheel, who personally tells me (Almar Gouweloos) the very special story about the unique moment, June 4, 1988, Pope John Paul II visited the Ferrari factory! A holy mass was held that day, followed by a tour of honor at the Fiorano circuit. Piero Ferrari was behind the wheel. In the Ferrari Mondial stood the Pope and blessed the crowd. A very special moment of which this Ferrari Mondial is a tangible memory and can now be admired in the Ferrari museum in Maranello. Ferrari Mondial #chassnr77848 #Italianculture #HolyFerrari
