Hi Everyone and Happy Thanksgiving. Many of us serve solely U.S. wines on this most American of all holidays....but it's not mandatory. Please post what you'll be serving (or taking along to Grandma's) this year. Cheers! Keith

A couple of Oregon pinots served in Washington in the Olympic Peninsula.

@Steelton Keith, try a Purple Hands Freedom Hills or Shea Vineyards when you get a chance. I think you will like. Sister winery to Roco.

    Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Californian ‘Tuscan’ blend, 60/40 Sangiovese/Cabernet Sauvignon blend, apropos to the ‘turchetta’ I’m making (rolled, stuffed turkey breast done like a Tuscan porchetta).

The Martini was a Double Magnum purchased in 1977 at the Winery for $7
Was still sound but I would guess 10 years passed it's prime (we finished it non the less :)

The Graham was delicious and has at least 10 years to go

We also had a 25 year old Willamette Valley Pinot Noir which I did not have (I was focused on the Martini then the Graham)

No tasting notes were taken as it was a family event

I’ve open special ones in the past, but then on cleanup saw too many still have filled glasses. Somewhat depressing.

    Generally have 15-20 people over.
