    Good day All,

Indeed, the "white" and "black" blocks are electrically different (the shared power connections on the top parts of the blocks are what are electrically different), but also they differ with respect to the covers. The fuse block covers are "keyed" (fuse cover ends have "tongues" which have differing widths) such that they can only be installed on their respective block and in the correct orientation. This is to ensure that the affixed cover information (circuit connections and fuse size) is correct for the respective fuse block fuse.

    Cheers,

    Sam

Sam, I just compared my originals, and they are identical left and right.

Did you check the electrical connectivity across the top connections?

    Good day Chris,

Are you saying that both of your blocks are identical in color or just electrically? If they are the same color then someone installed an incorrect block as a replacement. If electrically, then how did you determine this (visual inspection, continuity meter, etc)? The blocks are different electrically (refer to your model's wiring diagram if you do not believe me) and mechanically such that they will only accept their respective cover. Out of curiosity...are both of your covers interchangable?

Also... check the Ferrari parts manuals... you will see two different part numbers for the blocks... this also indicates that they should be different.

    Cheers,

    Sam

No, just the covers. The covers are identical, and seem original. The blocks were original one white, one black.

    Good day Chris,

If your covers are the same then either someone modified the "tongue" end of the covers to make them fit... or someone modified the respective block cover "socket". The covers "look" the same, but are designed such that they cannot be interchanged. The reason for this is so that the fuse sizes and circuit information affixed to the cover cannot be mistaken between the two blocks.

    Cheers,

    Sam
