SE 30 thread

Can't wait for the 2nd Lambonanza video coming!

 

My Se30 has air conditioning, the video states that SE30 don’t come with a/c, it would be unbearable in the summer w/out and those tiny windows. I have power steering as well. Can other owners chime in?

 

Power steering was an option, the price was L 3.500.000 back then. All SE30 should have A/C.

 

Different markets = different options, simple as that. The 'pocket window' made the car impossible so I had the factory revise the windows to be power windows, uses an SV door panel to support the motor and channel guide for the full window. They actually did that for many customer cars, first saw that for owners in Japan, but other markets too.

with A/C is not a big issue

 

Pocket window was a bad idea. A/C here in LA could never really catch up and cool the cockpit down on a hot day.

 

I have updated the blower motor from my SE30 to the late 1998 blower motor. It works MUCH better and keeps the cockpit cool.

 

Smart John, it needs it. Couple times when I was up in the Malibu hills on hot days and going at a good clip, I’d get out sweating more than I did at the gym that day. Lol.

 

On the bright side, cancel your gym membership as not needed. . .
