Was looking more for owners who have had the car for a bit. Yes I’ve seen those posts all good to read.
Saw my first IRL on I95 heading to Miami today. Triple layer red. Running a steady 65mph in the left lane. The sheriff's car in the middle lane may have had something to do w that...
Would love to have a conversation with you about your order. I’ve got one in order as well, but Maserati ‘s been quiet. Can you send me a PM?
Have you confirmed that a livery can be ordered on top of a white car? I tried to order the MC12 Tribute livery on a white car and was told there are no white base coat options. Seemed like an odd answer to me, but that's what I was told.
Once I am at the factory, I will try to take some pictures of the cars in the assembly along with their VIN. Maybe I will be able to find the new owners with some cool shots.
Yeah I get it but it's funny. Back in the mid 80's and mid 90's when I visited the Italian exotic factories EXCEPT FOR FERRARI we took lots of photos at Maserati, Lamborghini and what was left of DeTomaso. I have over an hour of HI-8 video @ the old Maserati Factory where they were assembling Ghibli IIs, Shamals and the brands new QPIV but we couldn't even get into the Ferrari factory. My wife and I even got a private tour of the Innocenti factory where they were make Biturbos and 228s at the time. That was in 86. I just walked up and asked. A call to Mr. DeTomaso and we got a nice tour.
Seems that you have no clue how factories of these kind work today. In the moment you try to take a picture you`ll get an invitation by the security chaps....
Teaser from a photo shoot with my car. The MC20 needs to be seen in three dimensions to truly be appreciated. It’s just a wonderfully proportioned and beautifully sculpted machine. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
How long did it take to get your car? That color looks an awful lot like the Rosso Rubino on my Bora.
It took over 2 years and status updates were virtually non-existent. Maserati can really improve how they communicate so that the customer is informed and doesn’t lose excitement/interest in the car as it’s in the order/build process. I get that Covid impacted the process, particularly for a new model like the MC20 but that doesn’t mean communication has to be almost nonexistent. That said, the wait was well worth it. Have had so many people comment that it’s the most beautiful car they’ve ever seen. My car is Rosso Vicente, a triple layer red. I think rich, deep colors work particularly well on the MC20. While it can wear any color well, brighter bolder colors might be too shouty and obscure the beautiful lines. Of course this is just my opinion.
The obvious answer? Because someone ordered it like that. I'm not even aware what interior schemes are available? It seems like traditional color schemes are no longer popular. This is all I'm seeing for a tan interior. The bit over the top of the dash is probably a reflective nightmare though. Image Unavailable, Please Login
This car has incredible lines. It's a shame that Maserati is not very forthcoming on the ordering process. I know guys that ordered 20 at a certain dealership and got their 2023 this week, meanwhile, I know some people have placed 3-4 in the same dealership and will not get their car until mid-next year. In my case, I ordered 1 at my local dealership and my order and communication went into a dark hole. I canceled my order and reordered it from a dealer in Florida. He assured me that my Cielo will be delivered next year but could not confirm anything. He did tell me that the Cielo will be in full production the second week in January 2023
I have a fouriserie interior coming, berry red, and kept that bit black to avoid reflections but also because it looked a bit ‘stuck on’ when they did first render Image Unavailable, Please Login
Car looks quite nice... Can someone post the ordering guide/price list for options for MC20? Can't seem to find it anywhere and pricing not shown on Maserati's website. Would like to see the full list of options and pricing for each. Thanks
Or... Someone who has a digital version of the price list/ordering guide could post it for the benefit of all users. Just like folks do on the Ferrari forums to help prospective buyers.
