Geneva maybe? Have seen some new videos on his youtube channel
I just spoke with him at Cavallino. He's doing very well. And he's always smiling. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
He's doing well; just very busy jetting around the world for Cavallino, then Retromobile, and now Amelia Island.
I moved the most recent discussion in this thread to what I feel is the more appropriate forum: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/vintage-thru-365-gtc4-sponsored-vintage-driving-machines/501807-massini-report.html
Marcel talking about the 212 Fontana [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AbYvsPDfcv4[/ame] I was lucky enough to see this car at RPM Restorations in Vermont being built. OUr Club was in Vermont in 2013, and we were lucky enough to view it and have it fired up. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pprA77pEj3g[/ame]
My gosh I remember when we went the first time in '09 and the body was wasn't complete. They built that car without any technical drawings. Completely based on pictures they managed to find... Stunning machine!

Mr Massini, I'm afraid I'm not understanding the correct way to respond back to yo . My chassis is 01668 engine #0009674 body #85 . Is this matching #? Thx a million Tim
NO. Of course, this is NOT matching. Your car really is 03866. NOT 01668. Your Dino is just using the identity of 01668. Somebody changed the identity. See my reply in the Dino serial number thread. Marcel Massini
Hello Mr. MASSINI, I am looking for a rare Ferrari for a client and I think you can give me some informations. Please join me in private message. Thank you. [email protected]
Hello Mr. Massini...I have a 1983 512 BBi #48255, which is all in Rosso Corsa including the rear spoiler and the "air boxes" and without the black Boxer trim, which I've owned since 1986 or so. Could you possibly supply me with some documentation for this car? I tried contacting Ferrari several times both in English and in Italian, but without any response. My understanding is that the car was delivered to Garage Francorshamps originally before being imported into the US and converted. Any help would be greatly and I would be more than happy to cover your costs for any research fees...Dr. John
I believe this Daytona is still unrestored. As of Oct., 4, 2022 it was residing at Ferrari Classiche. According to our Tour Guide, no plans for restoration.
Marcel, Was 250LM #5995 kept at Garage Francorchamps in the early 80's? I sat it in when I visited Jacques Swaters in Brussels. I wanted to buy it, but recall he told me that the owner was not interested in selling. Where is it now? Thanks, BJ Lyon
It lives in the South of France since 1988 and is oftentimes on display in the factory museum in Maranello and/or the Museum Enzo Ferrari MEF in the city of Modena. It was born red, then repainted silvergrey, then repainted darkgreen metallic with yellow stripe, then repainted metallic silvergrey again and a French tri-color stripe added. Marcel Massini
