Crap like this makes me feel like I've stepped into the Twilight Zone.

Tell me, of which metric has Sainz outperformed Leclerc this year? Wins? Nope. Poles? Nope. Points? Nope. Race pace? Nope. That leaves what exactly? Santander money? I guess he has Leclerc beat there. Maybe he was slightly less mistake prone, but that's incomparable since he was never actually in the title fight.

The only thing Sainz has on Leclerc is experience, and considering the massive performance gap, that's not necessarily a good thing, considering he's getting trounced by someone with less experience.

Lololo, keep cool, it's Moretti! He knows what he's doing, he probably wrote this on his phone while wrestling a crocodile in the shower, so it's normal he messed up a few things :)

The Alonso boat has sailed ...

In any case, he is now under contract at Aston until 2025.

If it's between 2023 Alonso and 2023 Verstappen in similar cars, I don't think Alonso can hang, and I say this as someone who has a tremendous amount of respect for his craft. 2012 Alonso was 11 years ago.

Give Leclerc the car and support and he can battle Verstappen.

I'm all-in with Charles, I could see a worthwhile mentorship with Fernando. Sainz is fine as well, just wish that Ferrari had delivered for Fernando. Pipe dreams.

Leclerc trumps him. Leclerc crashed out of France. Sainz in Imola and Japan. I’m not counting Sainz’s spin in Australia or reliability DNFs.

And in other news I read Flavio was appointed F1 ambassador and will organize events and entertainment.
I would love to be on the guest list with this cat!

Words in Italy saying Vasseur will have a lot less influence than Binotto within the whole organization.
They said the real new Scuderia boss is Vigna with Vasseur only here to solve the operational flaws.
Apparently Vigna wants to decide for everything in Ferrari with the Elkann full approval..

That would be going back to Enzo Ferrari's era: as CEO, he controled everything at the Scuderia.

The manager of the gestione sportive was only in charge of track operations, but reporting to him.

Ferrari didn't attend races but was kept continuously informed.

Vigna not having a racing background, it's difficult to see what positive input he could bring.

It worked for Flavio Briatore though.
