And 1121154 went off to Saudi Arabia and many years later they were in same truck as 1121164 in Edinburgh, Scotland… Was a complete coincidence, two deliveries booked separately with transport company that day, and both turned out to be S2 Countach! That's amazing, i've just let my wife and sister know and they are delighted that the car they grew up with has gone to someone who really enjoys the cars! Congrats on the purchase. If you don't mind i'll send you a quick message
There are Countachs and then there is 1120248 which is enjoyed much more than most, wether it is on California's epic Highway 1, the cold of Switzerland's St Moritz snow (with studded snow tires), or in the heat of a desert rally in the Uniter Arab Emirates. I was just in the presence of automotive greatness, I think I like my job so much I may have to put off retirement. 1120220 sounds as good as it looks. That Bianco 1121164 owned by Ferruccio was delivered new in Rosso. Here is the car on a trailer at the factory in Sant Agata in 1980. The Roma plate might look familiar ;-) These are the pictures that really blow my mind! Researching and discover Countach history by information, stories, rumors, plates, countries, colours, wings, mirrors, interiors, photographers, my own Countach picture archive, books, magazines, facebook, instagram, lambochat, auctions, and great help from great friends like Kevin Crauwels, Raymond Stofer, Victor Debon and many other enthusiasts and owners. Trying to connect all the dots and solve the 2000 pieces Countach puzzle. A very time consuming hobby, but I really love it! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all Countach lovers & owners! The www.countach-register.com really is a dream come true! Special thanks to all members & contributors. Sure we will discover and identify some more still unknown Countachs in 2023, big fun! Ciao! Marcel Image Unavailable, Please Login
Merry Christmas, Marcello. Thank you for all the work you do for the Countach community. I find myself spending many hours looking through the registry. Happy 2023.
I found a great photo of the Lamborghini Countach on the forum. The car is very similar to 1121186. But, unfortunately, it's not him. I keep looking for information about 112118. Merry Christmas to everyone. May your dreams and hopes come true Image Unavailable, Please Login
Very cool period image, the history is a huge part of the allure of these cars. We always knew 1121164 was listed in the production register as red but this proves the car was completed that way, looks to me like it's arriving back at the factory to become white, either way, the current owner is over the moon about having it in his collection. I hope this 15-year-old thread I started far too long ago has been a little bit of an inspiration and a help, keep up the excellent work!

Perhaps not an ideal base, there was no rame colorado LP5000s nor QV, perhaps you better use one of the WW LP400s as a base model.
Nice scale model, but the black caulkin around the flares is missing: The 1/18 Lamborghini Countach LP400S from IDEA, a review by LamboDieCast.com
I'd use the AutoArt LP500s or Kyosho for your project: AUTOart: Lamborghini Countach 5000 S - Red (with Openings) (54531) in 1:43 scale - mDiecast Amazon.com: Lamborghini Countach 5000S (Black) (Diecast Model) by Autoart : Arts, Crafts & Sewing 1/18 Kyosho Lamborghini Countach LP500S (White) Diecast Car Model - LIVECARMODEL.com

Just going through my archives over the holidays , I've re-discovered some amazing unpublished images by Peter Coltrin of Countach 1120001 which I'll share at a later date. Meanwhile, here's a selection of early magazine material which may have been posted before, but I'll just go ahead and post them here all together in one post in case some haven't seen some of them, it's hard to believe these are from around 50 years ago, a Supercar produced by a company that was barely 10 years old!
