Check out post #8 - it looks like the car is about to have a major service completed.

Oh, and this looks like a beautiful drive quality GTB.

Your car is just awesome. I'd say you're giving it away at that ask. Best of luck. It's definitely a real looker. Highly underrated and exceptionally entertaining. Next owner will be very lucky and equally rewarded.

Yep, I agree. That's why it's in the shop. Drives amazing still but I didn't want to take any chances. Should be finished in a couple weeks.

My ask of $75K was prior to the Major service. I'll adjust up in a week or so to account for it.

I'll be picking my 348tb up from Automotive International (AI) in Charlotte shortly. They just performed a major service as well as detailed it. They are a very competent and thorough shop that works on primarily Ferraris here in the Charlotte area. My FChat list price of $75K was premajor. The service bill was $12,500. I'm bumping the price up to $85K OBO now that the service has been performed.

Happy to discuss the car further. PM me if interested.

Was there anything out of the ordinary for the bill to be $12,500 ... or, is the labor rate now crazy at the indies these days as well?
    Thank you, Mike.

I'll look at the bill specifically when I pick up the car and report back. Nothing extraordinary but I will get a list of all that was done.

    Curious as well.

I'm also wondering "Why oh why did I have to see this??" Haha! Man, a '92 TB...&*#$!! If it were black, I wouldn't even ask any questions...but the red/black looks nice.

    Any more pics?

Picking up tomorrow and will get some more pics and look at the bill. I discussed with the shop and nothing extraordinary but like I said, they are a very thorough and competent shop. I expected to pay a bit more using them vs. another here in the area. Will post more pics tomorrow.

That’s a really sharp looking 348, no doubt I agree. PS. Nothing wrong with red! So, just like you, I was curious about the major costs, b/c I keep seeing indies just charge a lot more for work these days. General observation from my own experience.

Depends on where you are. Mine is still doing waaaay less than what I hear about. They’re doing an OEM manual conversion on my 575 right now and their labor rate and estimates are/were so much more reasonable than others. Caveat, I did source the parts with help from the brain trust here, don’t know how much that would have affected things.
