Hi guys, it's one of my first post. I’m planning to buy my first Ferrari and I think it will be an F12. I discovered one from an official dealer in Rosso corsa exterior, black leather and alcantara interior, full carbon interior and exterior, racing seats. It’s 2017 and it has 25000 km. The price it's above averege for me (255k only for the car) but I love these specifications... What do you think about the car? I'm realy near to buy it... Looks clean to me. I really like how you do not have that antenna that sticks up on the back. I have that and it really wrecks the line. So yours looks great.
How is the car? Personally I drove it only once time but I love it, the sound and the design are fantastic.
It's a great car. Very different from mid-engine cars though. I think the F12 has a split personality. It is very good around town and you can forget you are in an exotic. You could easily daily drive this car. When you open it up it is something else. Tracking the car is a blast. Tons of power and it screams the entire time. Long road trips on deserted highways are also spectacular. The car is so good in these situations I find it hard to drive "normal" drives because you really want to lay into it.
Is that a satellite radio antenna? I don’t think it’s present on Euro spec cars. We certainly don’t have one on my wife’s car. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Very nice! I have one in a Rosso Corsa with black wheels also. It looks like it has all the important options. Make sure the sport seats fit you as I think they came in three different sizes. I have a friend who has them and they are too low for him. I have the comfort seats as the sport are uncomfortable for me and don't have enough adjustments. Plenty of luggage space for travel and there is nothing like the sound of that V12!
This morning I made the final decision and signed the contract with the dealer. The car will be ready at the end of January due to the nationalization in Italy
Congratulations! I picked up mine last week. Not able to drive it a lot due to the terrible weather but what a great car, I am sure you will not be disappointed.
Great decision. F12 was my first F-car and I don’t think you can go wrong. I’ve put 12k miles on mine in 2 years and my wife absolutely loves it, too. I would suggest getting your dealer to put in an exhaust valve controller so that you can open the flaps when you want. Otherwise, they don’t open until about 3.5k-4K RPM and you’ll get enough speed that they will only be open for a short while. It’s a cheap addition - maybe 2k US$ for parts and labor. Hi guys, the car is almost ready, only the license plates are missing (probably two weeks). I saw it last week and there are three stone chips on the hood anche one on the left arch wheel (only the front bumber, the grill and mirrors are covered with PPF). What could I do for fixing them? Should I covered also the hood and the wheel archs with PPF? Here some photos of the car Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login View attachment 3477704 Image Unavailable, Please Login
Get the rock chips touched up, then do full PPF. It will not be massively more expensive than just adding some panels, and PPF is magic for a car that you want to use.
