It does look darker than the British Green so likely Verde Scuro. Perfect location with those dark green shutters on the building to.
Speaking of 'sparkley', remind us which silver did you use for the livery stripe that looks like 10,000 ground up diamonds shining back at you on your Pista?

merely an observation but the renders for your GTS look close to the F40 that was repainted in Verde Abetone. The GTS pictured here looks a world away from the other Verde Abetone. I would want to see the metal painted Verde Abetone sample at the least before jumping in.
You mentioned about all the brown interiors; did you ever consider dark green for the interior?

That’s exactly the problem with trying to spec these cars from pictures. And even if they show you samples it’s hard to translate to what it will look like when it gets delivered.
You mentioned if I have considered dark green for the interior. I could write a novel longer and more boring than ‘world and peace’ just outlining all the combos I have considered. I have Verde permutation nightmares. And that’s before I even get to the interior. :)

I came from the Porsche world where they make this stuff a lot easier with a lot fewer variables, and that included all the CXX and PTS options. If one has a sense of style and trusts their instinct it’s hard to screw a Porsche up. Ferrari gives you so many options, and there are sometimes so few examples to find pictures of them on the net, even the dealers haven’t seen 50% of the stuff that’s possible so they can’t advise you … all that combined with the price point and I’m basically flying blind hoping that i got it right on a half mil car.

It’s a little nerve-racking, but it’s also very exciting … I just wish there were a middle point between a salesman poorly rendering a spec on an iPad and me going to a Taylor Made location to get a better sense of my finishes only to be pressured into $200k worth of extra options.

But please don’t take any of this as a complaint. I trust my taste sensibilities and I’m not worried that my spec will look like poop. I’m just trying to protect against little missing details that I don’t know that I don’t know that I’ll look at and say ‘crap, I wish someone had told me about this’ … but with so many permutations even the dealers sometimes don’t know. In a Porsche i could learn that lesson in a base 911, it’s unsettling to be trial and erroring in a car this expensive … at least it is to me.

Ultimately as others have noted, 'it is what you like' for a build specification. The amount of choice is a bit overwhelming but that is all part of the Ferrari experience.
Speaking of Porsche; that family had their own 'green' color they often specified. Oak Green for Ferry's own personal 930 Turbo and Irish Green for the one millionth 911 built for the Porsche Museum. Greens continue to be popular.

I would say you're on the right track with what you have and there's not much more to do other than maybe some choices between carbon or not, leather or not, dreamline or not. The dealer can give you diagrams that show what's available so you don't miss anything. But they are hard to follow without seeing pics of an actual car with the option.

    Thanks guys.

I’m going to inquire about the leather roof liner because that seems like a missing detail, I’m going to toil over gloss or matte black wheels, and then I’m just going to let it be and cross fingers that I got it right.

At the end of the day what I am most looking forward to is tearing through the hills as the the setting sun strobes through the tees into my eyes, with the roof open and the scream of the V12 vibrating through my temples … as long as I didn’t spec anything catastrophic I won’t be thinking or caring about spec minutiae. :)

Regardless if it's your first or fiftieth Ferrari build, we all get it! All very fun and fortunate stuff to be able to experience. In my personal opinion, I would spec an 812 body with a high metallic paint. There are so many lines in this car that a high metallic paint really makes every line pop in person and creates a lot of dark and light spaces, which makes for a much more exotic front engine GT. So as mentioned by some other folks here, Scuro, BRG or Pino would be optimal in the green spectrum, given my opinion.

I typically focus on texture and overall flow when building any of these cars. If it's multi-textural (leather/alcantara/high gloss/matte) inside and out, with a flow that you're psyched about while attracting most eyes, you'll have a unique car that's also not too polarizing if you ever want to sell it in the future. I typically stay away from green exterior with green interior accents, and won't match brake calipers with rev counter, but just me! Unfortunately I'm the sucker who did $200k in options, so maybe I'm not the best one to take advice from, haha.

Only my opinions, no facts here, but hope this helps!

That's what I'm thinking. That Verde Scuro spec, chocolato alcantara interior, silver wheels and silver dream lines. Would be bitchen and I think more of a standout than black interior.

Silver wheels trigger a more elegant spec which would necessitate a more elegant interior. My first spec was Verde Medio with silver wheels, silver calipers, shields, TB interior, carbon everywhere inside and out. I’m sure it would have also worked and in fact have been more stunning than what have now, it would also have been $100k more. I know it sounds vulgar to speak of money but it does matter, not because of affordability but because I wasn’t going to like it that much more over what I have specced now to justify it. and to be fully honest, basically I’m wimping out because I don’t have the confidence to go that far out with my spec when this the first ferrari I’ve built from scratch. :(

The fundamental problem I had speccing this car is that it works equally well elegant form as it does in aggressive form. Most cars I’ve dealt with guided me with their ethos, I understand what they are meant to be and I lean into that rather than try to force a spec that doesn’t fit the inherent purpose for which it was built … meaning I know what a GT3 or 3RS is, I know how to spec that because it clearly tells me what it is. Most cars will do that, the 812 GTS doesn’t … it just tells me ‘I’m so well designed I can carry all locks as long as you don’t mess it up’ … it’s like an Italian woman asking ME what she should wear. :(

Anyhoot, I didn’t mean to derail the thread with my issues as they are more numerous that the available options. :)

    That’s absolutely stunning!

I know that dark green with silver wheels and brown interior works. It’s a classic spec, but as such it is also a relatively common spec.

I was trying to be a little different and do something slightly different with green paint.

Money aside... You don't have to change anything that will cost you any extra money. I just think that a more interesting interior with silver wheels will make the car pop.

Here is an example with Silver wheels Vs Black.

I think photos speak for themselves.

Personally I dislike the black wheels trend and I think in time it’ll unnecessarily date many spec’d cars. I haven’t optioned them on any car aside from my wife’s Urus and that was only because factory wouldn’t do silver 23” wheels. Silver for the win!

Ha I was joking, defaulting back to the safest spec.

I appreciate everyone’s input, especially cause you guys have a lot more experience speccing these cars. Maybe it’s a huge mistake but I don’t want to do a well established spec. I actually love how @TuttoVerde ’s car came out, so I’m just trying to decide if I want to switch from matte black wheels to gloss black.

It could also be Rosso Magma in ten minutes. :(

    Rosso magma!

    Now there is a color!

If I wasn't doing Blue Pozzi Metallic, then I would be do Rosso Magma!

I don't know if it's possible to get the TDF rims in grigio corsa, but if yes, it could be a great combination for the darker green.
Grigio Corsa is matte, so they should fit very good to the black parts.
Some of the Monza SP has the rims in grigio corsa, this color is stunning and should be rare on a GTS.

Here is an example of a Monza rim in grigio corsa.
Very simple colour, ultra thin painted.

    Daniel

    P.S.
The gloss black rims are painted very thick, so they are a little bit sensitive for chips.
