It's not on my cheat sheet. But Zeltweg is a PNTO if that gives any clue. PNT0 (2 Layer Special Paint) - $ 16,874 VERDE ZELTWEG 610 BTW, Abetone is a vintage paint that I think is $32,904. It does not get more expensive than that, except for matt paint. PNTC (Vintage Paint) VERDE 690 (VERDE ABETONE)
Well, my date for picking up the car is pushed off a bit. There are no fewer than 8 paint blemish/lack of spray spots. Dealer sent me pics, and they will take care of it. Ugh
In the past and maybe still they had a place in NJ that 'fixed' brand new cars for any number of issues on the boat ride over. When asked why this work was never reported to the customer their answer was 'we consider it part of the manufacturing process'. Please share the finished result after they work their magic on your new Ferrari!
That's Classic Coach https://classiccoachrepair.com/ Cars are more often fixed by the dealer upon arrival. I understand a high percentage of cars have some issue that is corrected by the dealers.
Thank you, you just reminded me of how their quality control is unbelievably rubbish. My car with the expensive 4 layer paint had no magma paint on the corners of the wing near the windscreen when it was delivered to me, I guess they stood it up while it was still wet? It’s unbelievable after spending that much money on a car that you have to ask the dealer for touch up paint!! Which by the way never arrived. I think because they could not match it exactly, I have just ordered some Maserati Magma touch up which you can get off the shelf. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thankfully the dealer inspection was thorough. I didn’t notice anything when I saw it in person, though I would have eventually. My post was an argument for what you said in post https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/148925637/ You're 100% right : Verde needs silver wheels
I finally got my GTS after it was sitting at the port in NJ for two months. I wanted to keep it conservative but still have a little fun on the interior so I ended up going with Marrone carbon fiber and some dream line on the wheel and paddles. Wishing you all a Happy New Year! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Woah!!! Very cool carbon interior. 2 months sitting in the port? and here I am losing my mind seeing my package from DHL not moving in a couple days, I don't know how you did it!!!
Personally my favourite wheel colour against green is the dark grey they offer. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wow in my book this is totally inexcusable, and then to think what charge for these special paints!! What the He!!
holy crap. I’ve seen some rough deliveries but that is one of the worst. So sorry for that especially with the upcharge and the stripe cost too. I would hit the roof. At least momentarily before they reminded me this is Ferrari not Lexus and I knew that going in… (The worst being a 430 that had the entire clearcoat done wrong, pinholes everywhere)
You should see my 16M. They barely put any paint on those cars. Everyone of them I've seen. The door jambs and much of the inside of the doors are basically devoid of paint or they put on so little paint that it's flaked off.
Yes, that's the rim color for green. That should be grigio corsa like i wrote in post #3920. A nice dark matte grey that allows to see the contours of the rims and not that black holes which you have with black wheels. Daniel
I didn't notice any of it when I was looking the car over, so luckily most of it is in spots that are not obvious. It'll be taken care of correctly, but it's my 3rd 3/4 layer car, and haven't noticed these issues before. Was always under the impression that Zanassi was superior, but here we are.
Ok so this has made me change at least one thing. At the very least, if I change nothing else, I will change my wheels to the dark grey color. So for now my car would look just like the one in the pic, but Verde Abetone instead of Scuro, and I'd keep the yellow calipers because I think they work with the painted shields. But I'm still a panic attack away from starting the whole thing from scratch in either a Fuoco or Fuji.
I'm sure it would look amazing! I believe user here @ACSATCO has an Abetone 458 with contrasting dark grey wheels and yellow calipers...Dream spec for sure.
