I love Oro Chiaro both for Front Engined and the Mid Engined cars but I do wonder how it looks in real life. There are some colours that photograph well but don't look the same in person. I know I will get heat for saying this but imho some shades of (darker) Blue look very classy in pics but dull in real life.
Your height is also a factor. If you are above 6,2"the racings seats will be better. When you are smaller, the comfort seats would be preferred. I have comfort seats in my GTS and racing seats in the SF. Comfort seats win for me every day. The racing seats are hreat, but not for longer drives. Perhaps not an issue for you; but my wife doesn't want to go in the SF due to the seats, but loves the GTS due to the seats. Unless you plan to do a lot of sideways drifting, comfort seats seem to fit the car better. Why not go to your dealer and get a feel when sitting in different models with these seats. All models use the same seats.

Only add here is that one of our regulars (escaping me now) had racing on 812 sf and loved and then on GTS and disliked. He is taller and felt too cramped in the GTS and sold. There are four f chatters in my mind of who it was and will post when I recall if they don’t before.

For some people the Ferrari race seats just don't work no matter how much they like them. I think the new race seats in the 296 are a work of art, they also gave me dead leg after twenty minutes because of how they bent my back. Although pretty good on track the 812 isn't a track focused car. It isn't in coupe form and it certainly isn't in GTS form. So unless one is lucky enough to have the exact back that fits the race seat design or is willing to put up with great discomfort for the look of the seat, it makes no sense to get them. I'm not lucky enough that my body conforms perfectly to their form so it's not even a question for me, and even if they did fit me perfectly without triggering partial paralysis I probably wouldn't spec a race seat in a convertible, but that's just personal preference. As far as resale it just doesn't matter. Everyone told me that I was making a huge mistake buying my 458 Spider with diamond stitch seats and not Daytonas and it still sold for top $, so I would just get what you want without giving that a second thought.
Yeah, I spec cars for me, not the next owner. Luckily, the race seats fit my body like a glove. I did a a few roads trips up and down the coast of California with my 458 with racing seats and had zero issues. In fact, I tend to slide out of the comfort seats. Did Smokey mountains with my 918 seats no problem either. I also decided to do silver TdF wheels on my 812 GTS spec. I had black wheels on my Huracan Evo and they seemed to fit the aggressive theme of that car better, but they were terrible to photograph. Just look like black holes. The interior door handles in carbon on this car are definitely a rip off but I did them anyway as I know it would trigger my OCD if I was missing them. Seems like a rare option from looking at most specs.
@soulsea Green over tan with silver wheels is a timeless combo. I have received a lot of compliments on my new Range Rover. I’ve had platinum/gunmetal finish on several Porsche as well. I would recommend either of those instead of black for your build. I’ve even tried blue and bronze wheels on some of my other cars but can’t find the pics right now. Suffice to say I’ve got a lot of experience all over the board. lol Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login An off the wall suggestion, but my friend put some champagne color wheels that look really good on his British Racing Green on his 911 Turbo S. Does anyone know the paint code for this version of Verde Scuro Metallic? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Piece of advice, make sure you go with a metallic or triple/4 layer paint over a flat paint. Flat paints are ok on simple classic shapes but they hide the nuances of the design and body when on something like an 812 gts, just makes it look like a blob of colour in comparison. I've seen side by side it's night and day, you can't stop staring at the metallic/pearl painted ones
Here is mine, paint missing on front bumper joint, bubbling paint on diffuser and they forgot to put the nuts on the side badges (both sides). Oddly enough my ppf installer said it wasn't the first time they had badge nuts missing Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Just seen this pop up for sale .... Verde Bottiglia. Unless this was a dealer car (Ferrari San Francisco) to showcase the tailor made program, I can't understand why someone would specify this and sell within a year??? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Just don't do yellow calipers... They're way overplayed IMO. They distract. Is there really a NEED to match shields to anything? I say there isn't. Less is more!!!
